California Traffic Tickets Fines 


Here are a few of the typical traffic ticket offenses and traffic court fines associated with them: 


VC 14600(A)


Failure to notify DMV of address change within 10 days.
Note: The fine may be reduced with valid proof of correction

VC 16028(A)


Failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility (insurance)
Note: This fine may be reduced with proof of insurance on or after the violation date.

VC 21453(a)


Failure to stop at a red signal, whether given by an officer or a camera

VC 22349, VC 22350, VC 22356

$234 for speeds 1-15 mph over limit

$363 for speeds between 16-25 over limit

$486 for speeds more than 25 mph over limit

- The court then adds $52 administrative fee for traffic school

VC 22348(b) Speeding Over 100 mph

Fine of $1,310, two points on your driving record, a 30 day license suspension, and possibly an in person 16 hour traffic school that does not hide the points

Failure to stop at a stop sign.
