Court Locations for Traffic Tickets and Traffic Court

Here in San Diego County there are four locations where traffic tickets get sent. The different locations are spread out around the county. The main traffic court is located in Kearny Mesa at 8950 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92123. In the south, the traffic court is within the courthouse located at 500 Third Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91910. In the east, the traffic court is located in the courthouse located at 250 E Main St, El Cajon, CA 92020. Finally, in the northern part of the county, the traffic court is located in a special Traffic Annex (Suite 350) in the Vista Court complex located at 325 S Melrose Dr, Vista CA 92081.

Generally, you should get sent to the court location closest to where you received the ticket from the officer. The ticket then gets filed in that court location and your court hearings would all take place there. Each of the different court locations have different commissioners (judges) that handle the hearings and each do things a little differently than the others.
